Kleeneze 406 is a non-hazardous, non-flammable cleaner that offers one-step cleaning, rust protection and film lubrication of firearm components. Kleeneze was specially designed for applications where it is desirable to leave a thin film of lubricant after cleaning to provide improved lubricity and rust prevention.

Kleeneze has an aggressive cleaning action that lifts carbon deposits and other contaminants. When a parts washer is used, gun and rifle components can be immersed in KIeeneze to minimize the need for scrubbing in dislodging difficult to remove soils. Conventional firearm cleaning products, which have noxious odors and are flammable, cannot be safely used for immersion cleaning.

Properties
Kleeneze's unique properties enable it to dissolve greases and oils, emulsify carbonaceous soil, penetrate rust and displace moisture. Because it has a very low surface tension, it is able to penetrate narrow openings and hard to reach surfaces.
Kleeneze cleans the surface then deposits a high performance, thin film that both lubricates the surface and serves as a corrosion inhibitor. This film does not result in an oily or greasy surface so it will not attract dust, sand or other particles that can result in the need for more frequent cleaning.

Easy-to-Use
Kleeneze 406 is designed to meet a broad range of cleaning requirements. It can be sprayed as well as applied with wipes and patches. When used in a parts washer, contaminants can be filtered out after each cleaning. When this is done, Kleenze can be reused for an extended period of time, keeping cleaner replacement to a minimum.

Health and Safety
Designed to minimize health and environment risks, Kleeneze 406 has a very low order of toxicity and no air pollution potential. It does not contain any ozone depleting or chlorinated components and is non-flammable. It does not have an offensive odor and is non-carcinogenic.

Compatibility
Kleeneze can be used on a wide range of painted and unpainted ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including: Titanium, Copper, Brass, Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Aluminum, Anodized Aluminum and Magnesium.
Kleeneze is is available in both 55-gallon drums and 5-gallon pails. On a special order basis, it is also available in aerosol cans.
